Driven that car - you get used to it pretty quickly. Still, they should have switched the binnacles and put the shifter in the proper place.

Absolutely not. I drove one every single day for a year and at first, yes, it's kinda weird. But after you get used to it it makes SO MUCH SENSE!. It's way closer to the wheel and ergonomically great (never thought I'd say that about something Italian...) I'd say it makes for a quick shift but the throw is so long and you have to be gently with it so you don't bend any part of the linkage (physics, yo) that a quick shift isn't really possible.

Fiat Multipla. You can tell it's an early 2000's Fiat because it's quite a funky design, made out of the cheapest, shittiest, ill-fittingest plastics imaginable.
